Mr. Johnny W. Blanton age 61 of Ellijay, GA died Wednesday January 23, 2019.
Mr. Blanton was born January 8, 1958 in Cherokee County to the late Henry Jasper and Litha Geneva Chumley Blanton. He retired from Coosawatee River Resort as a road and grounds keeper. He is preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Henry Jimmy Blanton and his infant sisters, Rebecca Ann and Robin Lynn Blanton.
Survivors Include: his wife, Wanda Blanton; sisters and brothers in-law, Juanita Carder and Ricky Gibson, Regina and Johnny Holcombe; brother, Darryl Blanton; brothers in-law and sisters in-law, Larry Tipton, Danny Ivey, Mike and Angie Tipton, Joey Tipton, Buddy Tipton, Jackie and Becky Cheshire, John and Martha Tipton and Dennis Tipton; numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
No services are planned.
