Margie Hice Hagin

Ms. Margie Hice Hagin, age 83, of Ellijay, died Tuesday, January 15, 2019.

Ms. Hagin was born March 30, 1935, in Gilmer County the daughter of the late Ewiel and Rettie Thompson Hice. She was a graduate of Ellijay High School, a homemaker and member of the Rock Creek Baptist Church. Her parents, son Billy Hagin, and brother, Lawton Hice preceded her in death.

Survivors include: sons and daughters-in-law: Rev. Kenny and Becky Hagin, Ellijay, Robert and Jodi Hagin, Jasper, daughter-and-son-in-law; Marcia and Joseph Schork, Woodstock, brothers; Ewiel Hice, Jr. and Ruel Hice both of Ellijay, sisters and brothers-in-laws: Evelyn Griffin, Houston, TX, Chris and Herb Waldman, Acworth, and Carolyn and Ed Bruce, Ellijay, 5 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 2:00pm from the Rock Creek Baptist Church with Rev. James Worley and Rev. Tony Gilbert officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.

Family will meet with friends Thursday from 2:00pm until 9pm at the funeral home.
