Jeffery Steven Carns

Mr. Jeffery Steven Carns, age 61 of Pickens, SC passed on Friday January 25^th, 2019 at the Emory University Hospital in Atlanta. Born June 18^th, 1957 to his late parents Marvin Charles and Arline Mae Wilkes Carns in La Mesa, CA. He was an Eagle Scout and retired as a Paramedic/Instructor for over 37 years.

Jeffrey is survived by his wife, Kimberley Wright Carns of Pickens, SC formerly of Ellijay, daughters and son-in-law, Jennifer & Thomas Pletsers of Pickens, SC, Rachel Covington of Boaz, AL, Sons and daughter-in-law, Jeffery & Tammy Stout of Killen, AL, Caleb Covington of Jacksonville, FL, grandchildren, Kandice, Jeffery and Alexander Stout, Cohen, Cadin and Coltin Pletsers, Noelle Covington, brothers, Christopher Carns of Tuscon, AZ, Timothy Carns of Spring Valley, CA, mother-in-law and father-in-law, Sammy & Judy Wright of Ellijay, brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Josh and Elise Wright of Murphy, special friends, Tim & Karen Sanders of Enid, MS.

The family will receive friends at the Logan Funeral Home on Sunday January 27^th, from 1:00pm-3:00pm. A private family graveside service will follow at the Macedonia Church of Christ Cemetery with Min. David Mullins officiating.
