Amy Johnson sworn in as Clerk of Court

Amy Johnson, Gilmer Clerk of Superior Court

ELLIJAY, Ga. – Gilmer saw the first official presentation of Amy Elizabeth Johnson as the Gilmer County Clerk of Superior Court on February 28, 2019.

Johnson was supported by her family and children as she took her oath of office from Superior Court Judge Brenda Weaver. Appalachian Circuit Judge Mary Beth Priest was also in attendance for Johnson’s oath.

Glenda Sue Johnson, Amy’s predecessor, announced her retirement earlier this year.
