Willard (Bud) Lee
Mr. Willard (Bud) Lee, age 97, of Ellijay, died Thursday, May 23, 2019.
Mr. Lee was born May 18, 1922, in Briartown NC, the son of the late George Arthur and Elda Caroline Hampton Lee. He was a retired textile worker, a veteran serving in WWII, with the US Navy and a member of the New Hope Baptist Church. His wife, Edith (Edie) Lee preceded him in death
Survivors include: sons; Roger Lee, Woodstock, Ronald Lee, Covington, LA, grandchildren and great grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services will be held Saturday May 25, 2019 at 11:00 am from the New Hope Baptist Church with Rev. Brian Clayton and Rev. Steve Jones officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
The family will meet with friends Friday from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
