Christina Dawn Miller Dickerson: Obituary

Christina Dawn Miller Dickerson, 58, formerly of Roane County, West Virginia, passed away on August 4, 2019 at her home in Ellijay, Georgia. She was born on July 29, 1961 to Billy Darrell Miller and Delma Parsons Miller. She was preceded in death by her father and a brother, Billy Darrell Miller, Jr.  Chris is survived by her mother, Delma Miller of Spencer; three sisters, Kimberly Miller Rankin of Ravenswood, Robin Miller Whiting and Laura Miller Greathouse both of Spencer; one son, Eric Allen Dickerson, daughter Meygan Dickerson, both of Maine; and Sara Dawn Ash of Spencer; five Grandchildren, Rhyannah and Dalton Clarkson, Savanna Dickerson, Kingston and Rexford Arthur; nieces, Olivia Greathouse and Kayla Rankin; nephews, Dylan and Devon Whiting, and her loving Life Partner, Zeke Bukac of Georgia.

Chris obtained her Cosmetology License and operated a beauty salon for many years before going into the Labors Union in Dunbar, where she met Zeke. After an early retirement, the two of them traveled to various states; living for some time on North Haven Island in Maine. She enjoyed tennis, wood working and being with friends.

Chris had a big heart, an infectious laugh, a beautiful smile and a great since of humor. Her children, grandchildren and family were the light of her life.  She will be greatly missed.

Based on her decision for cremation, a life memorial will be held at a later date.
