Mrs. Miria Anna D’Amore, of Ellijay, age 79 died Monday August 5,2019.
MRS. D’Amore was born March 12, 1940 in Lublin, Poland the daughter of the late Antoni and Jadwiga Olczynska Zienkiewicz. She worked as a Cafeteria Manager for K-mart and after moving to Ellijay, enjoyed her time at the Gilmer Senior Center. Her parents, husband, Ignatius D’Amore and daughter Bridget Kobus preceded her in death.
Survivors include: son and daughter-in-law: Tomasz and Rebecca Fiala, Ellijay, 7 grandchildren, Thomas Fiala, Jr., Robert Fiala, Alexandria Fiala, Joshua Kobus, Joseph Inserra, Pamela Inserra and Dominick Ogden, 6 great grandchildren, sister; Krystina Krekora, Poland.
Memorial services will be held Tuesday August 13, 2019 at 11:00am from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with The Rev. George Yandell officiating.
Flowers are accepted or donations may be made to the Gilmer Senior Center @ 11 Gilmer Street, Ellijay, Ga 30540 in memory of Mrs. D’Amore.
The family will meet with friends Tuesday from 10:00am until the service hour at the funeral home.
