Mr. James Milton Holt age 87 of Ellijay GA died Saturday August 24, 2019.
Mr. Holt was born July 20, 1932 in Gilmer County. He is the son of the late Fuller and Mentie Forrester Holt. He was a Veteran in the United States Air Force, and also a member of the Ebenezer Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his wife, Joan Ledford Holt, son,Hayden Holt, and grandson,James Houston Holt.
Survivors include; Daughters: Adeline Ponders, Denise Holt, Tammy Frady, and Donna Faye Holt, brother: Claude Holt, grandchildren: Ann Ponders Dana Goble, Hemi Holt and great grandchild, KarmaNova Allison Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday August 28th at 3:00 pm from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Glen Arnold officiating. Military honors by the North Georgia Honor Guard to follow at 4:30 pm at the Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Tuesday August 27 from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the Funeral Home.
