Mrs. Edith S. Duckett age 78, of Ellijay, died Tuesday, August 27, 2019.
Mrs. Duckett was born, April 3, 1941, in Gilmer County, the daughter of the late Paul and Rebecca Dunn Carter. She was a member of the Church of God and worked as an assembler for Robertshaw.
Survivors include: husband; Tommy Duckett, daughter; Wanda Osborne, Ellijay, grand daughter and spouse, Melissa and Bobby Pendley, grandson Jonathan Osborne, great grandchildren; Lura and Derek Pendley, brother; Bill Carter, Ellijay, sisters; Shadia Fendley, Louise Carter, Wyette May, and Juanita Slaughter. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral Services will be held Friday at 4:00 pm from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Hughes and Rev. Irene Wofford officiating. Interment will be in the Pleasant Gap Baptist Church cemetery.
The family will meet with friends Thursday from 2:00 pm until 9:00 pm at the funeral home.
