Mrs. Thurla McClure Smith, age 75, of Ellijay died Monday September 16, 2019.
Mrs. Smith was born September 27, 1943, in Gilmer County, the daughter of Efford and Bonnie Fowler McClure. She worked in food service and was of the Baptist Faith. Her parents, and husband, Andrew Smith preceded her in death.
Survivors include: brother; Hubert McClure (Pat), Ellijay, sister; Shirley Weaver (Charles),Ellijay, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2:00 pm from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Hollifield officiating. Interment will be in the Macedonia Baptist Church cemetery.
The family will meet with friends Tuesday from 2:00 pm until 9:00 pm at the funeral home.
