Mrs. Debbie Sue Hightower, age 76, of Talking Rock, died Monday, October 28, 2019.
Mrs. Hightower was born December 25, 1942, in Polk County, TN, the daughter of the late Ernest and Etta Bruce Patterson. She was retired from Gold-Kist and a member of the Macedonia Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by sons, Dennis Stiles, Roger Stiles and grandson, Chad Stiles.
Survivors include; children and spouse’s; Brenda Sue and Larry Kirkland, Ellijay, Diane and Henry Gahn, Blue Ridge, Audrey and Shane Fossett, Ellijay, Tamara and Mitchell Lee, Ranger, Tommy Stiles, Blue Ridge, Timothy and Jessica Weaver, Jasper, Russell Weaver, Dalton, Jason and Missy Hightower, Chatsworth, 25 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, several great-great-grandchildren, brothers and sister-in-law; David and Virginia Patterson, Calhoun, Danny Patterson, Etowah, TN, Paul Patterson, Sevierville, TN, Eldon Patterson, Ellijay, sisters and brother-in-law; Laura McClure, Ranger, Corrine and Tommy Parris, Talking Rock.
Funeral service will be held Thursday at 2:00 pm from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Timms officiating. Interment will be in the Yukon cemetery.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 4 until 9pm at the funeral home.
