Mr. Watts was born, March 25, 1936, in Gilmer County, the son of the late Franklin Lee and Lena Schular Watts. He was retired from the U.S. Army.
Survivors include; wife; Mary Smith Watts, daughter; Barbara Howard, Dawsonville, son; Robert Lee Watts, Canton, 2 grandchildren; Amber and Brandon Watts,
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2pm from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Ben Howard officiating. Interment will be in the Riverhill Baptist Church cemetery.
The family will meet with friends Wednesday from 10:00 am until the services hour of 2:00 pm at the funeral home.
