William Douglas Mabry: Obituary

Mr. William Douglas Mabry, age 90 of Woodstock, GA passed on Saturday November 30^th, 2019 at Autumn Leaves Assisted Living. Mr. Mabry was born on April 17^th, 1929 to his late parents Eric William and Winifred (Morris) Mabry in Buford, GA. He was a graduate of Marietta High School and the Georgia Institute of Technology earning a degree in Industrial Engineering. Doug retired with Lockheed Martin and was a member of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Hickory Flat.

A graveside service will be held at 2:30pm on Saturday December 7^th, 2019 from the Alta Vista Cemetery in Gainesville, GA with family and friends officiating.

Doug is survived by his wife of 36 years, Joy (Pope) Mabry of Woodstock, daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda M. Gibbs and her husband Don of Florida, Linda M. LaGrow and her husband Bill of Flowery Branch, son and daughter-in-law, Rick D. Mabry and his wife Tina of Ellijay, step-son and daughter-in-law, David Pope and his wife Cindy of Pennsylvania, nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren, brother, Dan Mabry of Ellijay.
