Mrs. Shirley F. Long, age 81, of Ellijay, died Saturday, December 14, 2019.
Mrs. Long was born, June 8, 1938, in Gilmer County, the daughter of the late Freeman and Elzie Chastain Long. She was a homemaker. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Dee Long, son, Chris Long, daughter, Jennifer Long and brother, Leon Long.
Survivors include: Karen Long, Ellijay, 3 grandchildren and brother; LeRoy Long, Ellijay, several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held Monday at 2:00 pm from the Yukon Cemetery with Rev. Billy Cantrell officiating.
The family will meet with friends Monday from 12noon until the service hour at the funeral home.
