Mr. Gregorio Landaverde Resendiz, age 80, of Ellijay, died Saturday, December 21, 2019.
Mr Resendiz was born, November 17, 1939 in Huilotla, Mexico, to the late Alejandro Landaverde and Angelina Resendiz. He worked in farming and was a member of the Good Samaritan Catholic Church.
His parents, wife; Mari Cruz Resendiz, sister; Sofia Landaverde and brother Domingo Landaverde preceded him in death.
Survivors include; son; Maximino Landaverde and daughter; Bertolda Landaverde, both of Ellijay, sisters; Maria Landaverde Casas, Narcisa Landaverde Resendiz, Josefa Landaverde Resendiz, and Saturnina Landaverde Resendiz all of Mexico, 5 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren.
A mass of Christian burial will be held Monday December 23, 2019 at 11:00am at the Good Samaritan Catholic Church with Father Carlos Vargas officiating. The body will be returned to Mexico for burial.
A visitation will be held Monday from 3:00pm until 9:00pm at the funeral home.
