Mr. Joel Lee Sweat, JR. age 82, of Ellijay, died Tuesday, December 31st 2019.
Mr. Sweat was born March 20th 1937, in Atlanta GA to the late Joel Lee Sweat, Sr. and Kathleen Grant Sweat.
Survivors include: Wife; Louise Sweat Ellijay GA, Sons; Joel Lee Sweat III, Palm Springs CA, Kerry Sweat, Ellijay GA, Brother; Larry Eugene Sweat, Ellijay, Sisters; Shirley Ann Craig, Apopka FL, Katherine Juanita Garner, Gainesville GA, Grandchildren; Jaylen Frady and Jared Sweat.
A memorial service will be held Saturday January 18th at 3:00 pm from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Kerry Sweat officiating.
The family will meet with friends Saturday from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm at the funeral home.
