Ellijay, GA- Taylor McCormick was one of several Gilmer Bobcats to travel to Carollton for the 2022 GHSA AAA Track and Field State Championships, but she was the only one to come back with gold.
McCormick cleared 5’6″ as did White County’s Maci Shelnut, but McCormick beat Shelnut in a “jumpoff” to win the AAA crown.
Congratulations to Ms. McCormick as all of her hard work and dedication are paying off!
