Robert Keith Sanford age 51 of Tails Creek Community, Ellijay, GA., passed from this life on Friday, January 14th, 2011from his residence. Born July 18th 1959 in Ellijay, Gilmer County, GA. Mr. Sanford was employed with Gold Kist and Jerry Logan Saw Mill. Survivors include father and mother Tom Benjamin Ada Mae Watkins Sanford of the home in Ellijay, GA., sisters and brothers-in-law Connie Sanford Simms of Ellijay, GA., Robin and Dwayne McPherson of Ellijay, GA., Martha Ann and Michael Harper of Centre, AL., brothers and sisters-in-law Curtis Sanford of Snellville, GA., Clinton “Jack” and Melanie Sanford of Ellijay, GA., six nephews, 4 nieces and several great-nieces and nephews, and Aunt China Davenport of Ellijay, GA.

Funeral Services will be held 2:00 P.M. Thursday, January 20th, 2011 from the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Brondy Davis and Rev. Dwayne McPherson officiating, music and song by Eva Sanford, interment will follow in Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetary.

Pallbearers will be Matt Chastain, Crag Schlenke, Anthony Sanford, Jerry Logan, Bobby Champion, Walter Edmonson, David Edmonson, Casey Ellis and Shaun Ellis.

Family will receive friends beginning at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 19th, 2011 at Logan Funeral Home.
