Mr. Troy Edgar Whitehead, age 80, of Panama City, Florida died Friday June 17, 2011.

Mr. Whitehead was born May 17, 1931 in Moultrie, GA the son of the late John Henry and Rosa Lee Cook Whitehead. He was a TV Technician ,served in the US Navy and was of the Baptist faith. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Survivors include: Wife: Mary Jane Burgess Whitehead, of Panama City, Daughter: Denise Cline, Jackson, Ga., Son: Victor Whitehead, Jackson, Ga.

Funeral services will be held Monday June 20,2011 at 2:00pm from the Bernhardt Funeral Home chapel with Brother Mike Short officiating.

Interment will be in the Mt. Pleasant(Top of the Mountain) Church cemetery with military rites by the North Georgia Honor Guard.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 6:00 until 8:00 pm.
