On November 30th, the Board of Commissioners held a budget workshop to finalize figures for its 2012 Budget, which will soon be advertised to the public. As the Board discussed various aspects of the budget, Post 2 Commissioner Danny Hall pushed Commission Chair J.C. Sanford to address the cost of the landfill to the County. But, soon, tempers flared as Hall pressed Sanford on the issue. Agitated, Sanford told him that the workshop was neither the time nor place to discuss the matter. When Hall asked when they could discuss it, Sanford forcefully told him they would meet in two weeks to review the issue.
