This is an amazing story to warm your heart.Homeward Bound was notified last Friday afternoon that there was a grieving lab in the Kennesaw general area whose only newly born puppy died and the owner of the mother dog was seeking some puppies in need of nursing. Homeward Bound found out that Gilmer County Animal Control was getting 4 puppies that needed bottle feeding. Jenifer Hendershot of Homeward Bound picked up the pups from GCAC on her way to Kennesaw Petsmart Saturday and the woman with the grieving mother dog picked them up there. The photos tell the rest of the story. The mother seems to be smiling and the puppies look happy, happy!! So nice to get good stories because we hear so many bad ones.
