Mrs. Anna Varhola Cernansky age 97 of Ellijay died Thursday February 7, 2013.

Mrs. Cernansky was born on January 29, 1916 in West Virginia. She was a house cleaner and a member of the Good Samaritan Catholic Church of Ellijay. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband John Paul Cernansky, Sr., a daughter Barbara MacConnell and a son John Cernansky, Jr.

She is survived by: Daughter & son-in-law: Carol & Ben Weaver, Ellijay; Son: Ray Cernansky, Glendale, AZ; Sister: Helen Marchek, Spring Dale, PA; 6 Grandchildren; Numerous great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and nieces & nephews also survive.

Memorial Services will be held Friday February 15, 2013 at 2pm from the Good Samaritan Catholic Church with Father Randy Mattox officiating.

Interment will be held in Our Lady of Hope Cemetery in Pennsylvania at a later date.
