Craddock Center Director Speaks at Rotary Club Meeting

At our June 3rd Rotary meeting, Julie Jabaly, Director of The Craddock Center, provided a most interesting program for our Rotarians.Founded by Dr. Fred Craddock, the Center serves 9 Counties in 3 States, however 90% of the children’s programming is centered in Gilmer County.
Their mission statement is “we are here to enrich the lives of the people in Southern Appalachia”. The Center offers three areas of programming.
1. Focused mostly on children
2. Helping families that have under gone some form or tragedy
3. Story Express, a Summer enrichment program for children
The Craddock Center serves a wonderful purpose in enriching the lives of children and others in Southern Appalachia.
