Mrs. Catherine I. Overvold age 60 of Huff Dr Ellijay died Tuesday June 11, 2013.

Mrs. Overvold was born August 15, 1952 in Ft. Benning GA the daughter of the late Carley and Ora Belle Laney Mickle. She worked as a substitute teacher for Gilmer County and was a member of the First United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Carla Janssen.

Survivors include: Husband; Tom Overvold of the home, daughters: Katrina Blocker, Murphy, NC, Jessica Hughes, Atlanta, Judith Hendricks, Ellijay, Alicia Newberry, Acworth, Jenna Hughes, Smyrna, Brothers; Tommy Mickle, Millen, GA, Mickey Mickle, Cheifland, FL., Sisters: Judy Bragg, Bartow, FL, Nancy Clegg, Phoenix City, AL, 8 Grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren. Nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Friday June 14, 2013 at 4:00pm from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Barton officiating. Interment will follow in Yukon cemetery.

The family will meet with friends Friday from 12 noon until the funeral hour at the funeral home.
