Flag Day is Friday, June 14, 2013 and the 507th Ellijay Composite Squadron has been honored with a request to conduct the official flag retirement ceremony at Ronnie Thompson Ford at 4:00 pm.

Lt. Williams is preparing the CAP cadets for the ceremony and our cadets will perform the actual retirement in accordance with regulations. Capt. Chaplain Bradley will deliver a presentation of the meaning and purpose of the folding of the flag.

This is a local businessman who wishes to dispose of our flag with the appropriate respect shown. We can be proud to have this honor for our unit.
