Mrs. Katherine Garland age 54 of Talking Rock, GA died Friday June 21, 2013.

Mrs. Garland was born May 6, 1959 in Tate, GA to Junior Moss and Thelma Raines James. She was a homemaker and a member of the Sunlight Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her father.

Survivors Include: Husband: Rex Garland, of the home; Sons and Daughters in-law: Josh & Addison Dillard, Jasper, Jayson & Melinda Garland, Dahlonega, GA; Daughters and Sons in-law: Jennifer & Chris McNeill, Orlando, FL, Lindsay & Matt Banks, Ellijay, Lacey Garland, Ellijay; Mother: Thelma James, Jasper; Brother and Sister in-law: Ronnie & Anna Lee Moss, Mexico; Sister and Brother in-law: Pam & Dwayne Watkins, Ellijay; 9 Grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held Monday June 24th at 2pm from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Mitchell Pack, Rev. Coy Richards, and Rev. Curtis Easley officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant Valley Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Sunday June 23rd from 11am until 9pm at the Bernhardt Funeral Home.
