Mr. Ralph Eugene Pierce age 78 of Chatsworth formerly of Ellijay died Tuesday July 2, 2013.

Mr. Pierce was born January 30, 1935 in Gilmer County the son of the late Guy and Cora Silver Pierce. He worked in the Lumber industry.

Survivors include: Sons: Randy and Jamie Pierce, both of Ellijay, Brothers: Alfred Pierce, Ellijay, Waldo and Wallace Pierce both of Ellijay, Sam Pierce, Summerville, Sisters: Mary Nell Troglin, Estelle Southerland, Helen Greer all of Ellijay, 4 grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Friday July 5, 2013 at 2:00pm from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Wallace Parks officiating. Interment will follow in Berean Baptist Church cemetery.

The family will meet with friends Friday from 12:30 am until 2pm at the funeral home.
