Mr. Jimmy Gilbert Hendrix age 68 of Big Creek Rd. Ellijay, GA died Monday August 12, 2013.Mr. Hendrix was born August 11, 1945 to the late Homer Gilbert and Alma Ruth Goodwin Hendrix. He was an Army Veteran and a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church in Marietta, GA.

Survivors Include: Wife: Frances Hendrix, of the home; Son: Charles J. Lloyd, Ellijay; Daughters: Lisa Hendrix, KY, Diana Cruse, Ellijay, Melina Lloyd, Chatsworth; Brothers: David Thomas Hendrix, Acworth, GA, Randy Joe Hendrix, Canton, GA; Sisters: Wanda Phillips, Canton, GA, Kathy Fortner, Ballground, GA, Karen Hendrix, Marietta, GA; 9 Grandchildren; 3 Great Grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday August 14th at 11am from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Minister Butch Jones officiating.

Interment will be held Wednesday August 14th at 2:30pm from the GA National Cemetery in Canton, GA with Military Rites by the US Army.

The family will receive friends Tuesday August 13th from 4pm until 9pm at the Bernhardt Funeral Home
