Mrs. Veardie Mae Craig age 64 of Ellijay, GA died Saturday September 21, 2013.Mrs. Craig was born August 12, 1949 in Gilmer Co. to the late Lewis Harden and Grace Rice Craig. She was a member of Covenant Community Church. She is preceded in death by sister, Christine Worley.

Survivors Include: Son: Jimmy Honeycutt; Sisters: Ruby Stover, Katherine Sexton and Louise Young, all of Ellijay, Lillie Cantrell and Betty Collis, both of Chatsworth; Brothers: Sammy Craig and Willie Craig, both of Ellijay, Freddie Craig, Chatsworth; Several Nieces and Nephews also survive.

Funeral Services will be held Monday September 23rd at 3pm from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Fields officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Saturday September 22nd from 4pm until 9pm at the Bernhardt Funeral Home.
