The Gilmer County Republican Party will meet at 7:00 PM Tuesday, October 1st in the Jury Assembly Room at the Gilmer County Courthouse (2nd floor). We will be discussing the upcoming special election for Post 1 Commissioner, with all Republican candidates invited to attend. Additionally, we will be discussing specifics of the SPLOST referendum. Both the Post 1 Commission seat and the SPLOST referendum will be voted on in the November 5th election. Our guest speaker will be State GOP Political Director Brad Hughes. Everyone is invited and encouraged to attend this very important meeting.”
