While gearing up for the quickly approaching 41st annual Apple Festival, FYN spoke with Seller’s Apple House on Highway 52 to see what their plans were in order to prepare for the influx of visitors during the festival. Olena Adams told FYN that they just tried to get all of their varieties in stock to provide a variety for their customers. She continued by saying they carried approximately 15 varieties but that the most popular were Fugi, Cameo, Jonico, Golden Delicious, York, McIntosh, Winesap and Rome.

Adams pointed out that they have many additional products aside from apples that include peaches from June until August, fresh vegetables that are purchased from local farmers, breads, pies, canned goods, jellies, jams, vine ripe tomatoes and an assortment of ciders.

“Some of our most popular ciders are raspberry apple cider, strawberry apple cider and cherry apple cider”

Adams said.

Seller’s Orchard was established by Adam’s father over 60 years ago and she and her husband maintain the over 20 acre orchard themselves.
