Mrs. Betty Quarles Bass age 74 of Virginia Beach, VA died Monday November 18, 2013.Mrs. Bass was born April 26, 1939 in Gilmer Co. to Floyd and Bernice Evans Quarles. She worked as a clerk and was a member of the Tails Creek Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by father, Floyd Quarles and sister, Virginia Quarles

Survivors Include: Mother Bernice Quarles, Atlanta; Sons David Bass, Lawrenceville, GA, Don Bass, Lawrenceville, GA, Sam Bass, Chamblee, GA, Duwayne Bass, Virginia Beach, VA; Daughter Cindy Alonso, Lawrenceville, GA; Brother Billy Quarles, Atlanta, GA; 4 Grandchildren Jacqueline Alonso, Holly Bass, Anthony Chancon and Christopher Bass; 1 Great Grandchild Ryan Bass

Memorial Services will be held Saturday November 23rd at 2pm from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home.
