Mrs. Margaret Anne White Morris, age 81 of Ellijay, GA, passed on Saturday, November 30th, 2013 from the Embracing Hospice in Cumming, GA.Mrs. Morris was born November 18th, 1932 to Fred Esko, Sr. and Neva Rebecca Cornelius White in Kannapolis, NC. She was a graduate of Cannon High School, Class of 1950 and worked as a travel agent for Howards Travel Agency. Margaret was a member of Spring Hill Baptist Church in Mobile, AL and attended First Baptist Church of Ellijay. She is preceded in death by her husband, James “Jimmie” Morris, Sr., sister, Linda Muncy and baby brother Charles Roy White.

Graveside interment services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, December 3rd, 2013 from the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA with Dr. David Drake officiating. Music and vocals will be by Scott Eaton. Pallbearers will be Rick Spears, Mike Funston, Mike Ianitella, Dave Posner and Jay Morris.

Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Becky and Rick Spears of Ellijay, GA and April and Mike Funsten of Gainesville, FL; Son and daughter-in-law, Jay and Evelyn Morris of Senatobia, MS; Seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; Sister, Marva Lou White Belk of Durham, NC; Brother, Fred Esko White, Jr. of china Grove, NC.
