Mrs. Dorothy Marie Sellers,age 87 of Blue Ridge, Georgia passed on Wednesday, September 10, 2014, at Heritage Healthcare of Blue Ridge in Blue Ridge, Georgia.She was born, January 29, 1927 in Ellijay, Georgia to her late parents Robert and Nettie Champion Watkins. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 17 Executive Park Suite 115, Atlanta, GA 30329 in memory of Dorothy Sellers.

Surviving are daughters and son in law Wanda S Davenport of Blue Ridge, GA, Linda Sellers Tilley of Jasper, GA. and Brenda Kay & John McPherson of Shawnee, OK; sons Joseph Eugene Sellers of Ellijay, GA., Robert “Dink” Sellers of Athens, GA; 12 grand children; 4 great grand children. Mrs. Sellers is preceded in death by husband Marion Sellers, brothers Robert Watkins, Herbert Watkins, Cecil Watkins and Bill Watkins.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday at Talona Baptist Church located at 4500 Talona Road Talking Rock, Georgia 30175 with the Rev. Michael Smith officiating. Interment follow in the Talona Baptist Church Cemetery,

The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Thursday, September 11, 2014, at Logan Funeral Home.
