Mr. Garvin Davis, Jr. age 84 of Ellijay, GA died Wednesday November 12, 2014. Mr. Davis was born November 4, 1930 to the late Garvin Davis, Sr. and Eunice Ray Davis. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Ellijay, Oak Bowery Lodge and North Georgia Shrine Club. He is preceded in death by his son, Monty Davis.

Survivors Include: wife, June Mullinax Davis, of the home; daughters and sons in-law, Patti and Jerry Vick, Ellijay, Daphne and Roy Duvall, Bartow, FL; 6 grandchildren, Tim Duvall, Brooke Berry, Crystal Norton, Katie Chinault, Zeb Duvall and Cassie Toepher; 6 great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday November 15th at 2pm from the First Baptist Church of Ellijay with Dr. David Drake officiating. Interment will follow in the Yukon Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Friday November 14, 2014 from 2pm until 8pm at the funeral home.

The request no food be brought to the funeral home.

In Lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Yukon Cemetery Fund at P.O. Box 466 Ellijay, GA 30540 In Memory of Mr. Davis.
