Mr. Dale Powell age 93 of Owltown Farm Dr. Ellijay, GA died Tuesday December 2, 2014. Mr. Powell was born October 15, 1921 in Franklin, IN to the late J.D. and Margaret Goble Powell. He was a member of the Cartecay United Methodist Church, North Georgia Shrine Club and the Oak Bowery Lodge #81 F & AM for 67 years. He also served in US Navy during WWII. He was self-employed in furniture and automobile businesses.

Survivors Include: special friend, Eddie Weaver; nephews, Steve Tresslar and Randy Powell, both of Ellijay; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday December 4th at 2pm from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Dotson officiating. Interment will follow in Cartecay United Methodist Church Cemetery with Graveside Rites by the Oak Bowery Lodge #81 F & AM.

The family will receive friends Wednesday December 3rd from 5pm until 9pm at the funeral home.
