Lesley Harley, 34, of Raleigh, NC passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2015. Lesley grew up in Ellijay, GA and came to know the Lord early on in her life. Her faith was very important to her, and her family.

Lesley went to Cape Fear High School, and then went on to Peace College and Meredith College where she earned a degree in Interior Design. She was a talented designer with wonderful personal style. She lived in Raleigh, and worked as a designer and an artist.

Lesley was a very vivacious and vibrant woman who was always smiling and upbeat. She loved to be around people. Although particular, she knew what she wanted, and was always kind to everyone, making friends with nearly everyone she met.

Lesley loved to cook, cooking everything from Grandma’s southern recipes to gourmet French meals, and always did it well. She traveled extensively, and has the passport to show her journeys.

Lesley loved, and was loved by many.

Lesley is survived by her mother, Dorothy Harley Bullard of Vander; step-father, Roddy Bullard of Vander; three sisters, Janna Harley and husband Hector Ramos, Angela Britt and husband Rodney, and Jennifer Hellman and husband Steven, all of Wake Forest; her grandmother, Minnie Modisett of Bronson, FL, and four nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 4 pm, Fri. Mar. 13, 2015 at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Vander, NC. Visitation will follow the service on Fri. Mar. 13, 2015, also at the church. Another service will be held Sunday March 15 at 2:30 pm at the First Baptist Church with Rev. James Holt officating. The family will meet with friends from 2:00 pm until 2:30 pm at the church Sunday. Interment will be in Ellijay City Cemetery.
