Mr. Glenn James Morrow, age 87 of Turniptown Road Ellijay, GA passed away Sunday October 25, 2015.

Mr. Morrow was born July 21, 1928 in Cherokee County N.C. to the late Fred L. and Nellie Garrett Morrow. He was a Deacon at Turniptown Baptist Church, a member of the Oak Bowery Lodge F & AM 81 and worked for Georgia Marble. Mr. Morrow is preceded in death by his wife, Edith Davis Morrow; daughter, Charlotte Driggers; and granddaughter, Marla Nichole Walker.

Survivors Include: son and daughter in-law, Doug and Cindy Morrow, of Ellijay, GA; sisters and brother in-law, Yvonne and Mackey Pierce, of Ellijay, GA and Jewell Lieberman, of Florida; sisters in-law, Sybil Morrow, of Ellijay, GA, Barbara Morrow, of Ellijay, GA, Bea and Jim Irons, of Ellijay, GA and Marlene Davis, of Ellijay, GA; 4 grandchildren and spouses, Maria Walker, John and Jessica Morrow, Amelia Walker, Julie and Dustin Day; 4 great grandchildren, Benjamin Morrow, Caleb Morrow, Callie Day and Laura Day.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday October 27th at 11am from the Turniptown Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Jones and Rev. Billy Cantrell officiating. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Monday October 26th from 4pm until 8pm at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Turniptown Baptist Church % John Morrow at 5125 B Turniptown Road Ellijay, GA 30536 In Memory of Mr. Morrow.

The family request no food be brought to the funeral home.
