Mrs. Audrey Spivey Scott, age 77 of Ellijay, GA passed away Wednesday October 28, 2015.

Mrs. Scott was born October 15, 1938 in Gilmer County, daughter of the late Ennus and Pearl Wood Spivey. She was a member of the Mountain View Baptist Church, a graduate of Gilmer High School and worked for North Georgia Medical Center as a cook. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Weyman Spivey.

Survivors Include: husband, Floyd Scott, of the home; son, Barry Scott, of Mt. Airey, NC; daughters and sons in-law, Brenda and Charles Timms, of Nelson, GA, Malissa and Ricky Reece, of Talking Rock, GA; brothers, Gary Spivey, David Spivey and William Spivey, all of Ellijay, GA; sisters, Donna Griffin, of California, Debra Carlisle, of California and Mildred Corbin, of Ellijay, GA; sister in-law, Gladys Spivey, of Ellijay, GA; 7 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday October 31st at 2pm from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Reece, Rev. Roy Scott and Rev. Larry Naylor officiating. Interment will follow in the Yukon Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Friday October 30th from 3pm until 8pm at the funeral home.
