Mr. Ed R. Stamey age 74 of Fountain, FL died Monday December 21, 2015.

Mr. Stamey was born May 27, 1941 in Hayesville, NC to the late Rastus A. and Laura Meadows Stamey. He worked as a parts man   and was of the Baptist Faith. He was preceded in death by parents, foster parents; Richard and Edna Brumelow, brothers, Grady, Weldon and Everett Stamey, sisters; Birdie Searcy, Ella Mae Stamey and Annie Mae Maney.

Survivors include: wife Margaret Herrman Stamey, daughter: Tisa Avis Dillard, Fountain, FL, son; Monty Edward Stamey, Greenhead, FL, sisters: Myrtle Cruse, Mineral Bluff, Neely Cruse, Ellijay, several nieces and nephews and friends also survive.

Funeral services will be held Saturday Dec. 26, 2015 at 3:00pm from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Stover officiating. Interment will be in the Yukon cemetery.

The family will meet with friends Saturday from 9:00am until the funeral hour.
