The Clear Creek Middle School Bobcats soccer contingent is off to a 2-0 start for the 2016 North Georgia Mountain League season.

Last Friday at CCMS, the Bobcats picked up a 1-0 victory over the Riverview Middle School Eagles. Fredy Sanchez scored the lone goal in the contest for the Bobcats.

Clear Creek then traveled to Fannin yesterday to take on the Rebels. The Cats emerged with a hard-fought 3-2 victory in the affair. Sanchez, Lucas Lopez and David Reynoso netted the goals for CCMS.

Lady Cats

The Lady Cats have yet to find a victory, but have gave opponents a run for their money thus far this season.

Against a Riverview team that knocked CCMS out of the semifinals of the 2015 NGML tournament, the Lady Cats fell 3-0. Last night against Fannin, Clear Creek dropped a 3-1 contest to the Lady Rebels. Reagan Boling scored the goal for CCMS.

CCMS hosts Dawson Monday, before traveling to Pickens Tuesday and hosting a boys only friendly against Eastbrook Friday.
