The Clear Creek Middle School Bobcats basketball contingent held its season-ending banquet last night, at the Pink Pig in Cherry Log. Every member of both the seventh and eighth-grade teams received participation awards, sweatshirts and commemorative medals to celebrate the season.

The seventh-grade Bobcats finished the 2015-16 year with an overall record of 8-7 and were the runners-up in the North Georgia Mountain League, while the eighth-grade Bobcats went 13-2 over the course of the campaign and captured the league championship.
