Mr. Ponciano Ortiz Guzman, age 80 of Ellijay died Thursday July 7,2016.

Mr. Guzman was born May 13,1936 in Mexico ,he was a former employee of Gold-Kist.

Survivors include: wife: Alicia Ortiz, sons Jose Ortiz, Pedro Ortiz, Antonio Ortiz, daughters; Rosa Ortiz, Josefina Ortiz, Elena Ortiz, 26 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren along with brothers, Eluterio Guzman and Jose Guzman and Delfina Ortiz.

Graveside services will be held Sunday at 2:00pm from the Yukon cemetery.

The family will meet with friends Saturday from 3 until 7 pm at the funeral home.
Bernhardt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
