Mrs. Helen Vick McCollum age 94 of Ellijay died Sunday November 13, 2016.

Mrs. McCollum was born October 29, 1922 in Gilmer County the daughter of the late Moses and Irene Troglin Vick. She worked in the textile industry and was a member of the Sunlight Baptist Church. Her husband Homer Eugene McCollum preceded her in death.

Survivors include: Sons and daughters-in-law: David and Ruby McCollum, Danny and Teena McCollum, Daughters: Yvonne Dotson, Shelia Jenkins all of Ellijay, 9 grandchildren 7 great-grandchildren 1 great-great grandchild, Sister Perlene Jenkins, Douglasville along with several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2:00pm from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Minster David Mullins officiating. Interment will be in the Pleasant Grove Baptist church cemetery.

The family will meet with friends Wednesday from 3 until 8pm at the funeral home.
