Mr. Alejandro Martinez Ruiz, (Alex) age 32 of Ellijay died Monday April 17,2017.

Alex was born March 28, 1985 in Mexico. He worked as a painter and attended the Good Samaritan Catholic Church.

Survivors include his wife: Jessica Castillo, children, Elizabeth and Alexia Martinez, parents: Meliton Martinez and Anna Maria Ruiz, Ellijay, 3 brothers; Baciliso, Tereso and Gregorio, all of Ellijay, 8 sisters; Candelaria, Ellijay, Teofila, Mexico, Isabel, Texas, Marcelina, Mexico, Candelaria, Mexico, Matilde, Ellijay Maria, Ellijay, Dolores, Florida, 37 nephews and nieces.

Funeral mass will be held Friday at 11:00am from the Good Samaritan Catholic Church with Father Carlos Vargas officiating. Interment will be in the Yukon cemetery.

The family will meet with friends Wed and Thurs. from 4 until 9pm at the funeral home.
