Mr. Royce E. Parks, age 66 of Fayetteville, died Monday May 15, 2017.

Mr. Parks was born March 19, 1951 in Gilmer County the son of the late Willie Gene and O’Dell Ridings. He worked for Goodyear Tire Company and was a veteran who served with the US Navy.

Survivors include: brothers Billy Ridings and Eddie Gene Ridings both of Ellijay, George Ridings, Dawsonville, sisters; Annie Teems Lisa Martin and Brenda Weaver all of Ellijay, special cousin, Paul Jr. Ridings along with several other nieces and nephews and cousins also survive.

Memorial services will be held Sunday at 1 pm from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Mt. Zion Baptist Church cemetery.

Military rites by the North Georgia Honor Guard.

Family will meet with friends Sunday from 10am until 1:00pm at the funeral home.
