Mr. Mickey Terry Wheeler age 57 of Ellijay died Sunday August 27, 2017.

Mr. Wheeler was born April 7, 1960 in Gilmer County the son of the late D.W. and Addie  Millsap Wheeler. He  was employed by the Millwood Company and was of the Baptist Faith.

Survivors include; wife; Donna Wheeler, children, Matthew and Kelly Wheeler, Blue Ridge, Jason and Heather Wheeler, Rome, Danny Plumley, Ellijay, Vickey and Mickey Nelson, Ellijay, 3 grandchildren, Jake and Lucas Nelson , Jasmine Wheeler, brother and sister-in-law: Rickey and Noel Wheeler, Ellijay, Vickey and David Tipton, Ellijay nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Thursday August 31, 2017 at 2:00pm from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Mike DeFoor and Rev. Lonnie Wright officiating. Music will be by Pam Reed. Pallbearers will be Jake Nelson, Bobby and Robby Wheeler, Lucas Nelson, Chris Plumley, Thomas Millsap, David Tipton, Rex Davis, Mickey Nelson. Interment will be in the Yukon cemetery. The family will meet with friends Tuesday from noon until 9pm and all day Wednesday until 9pm at the funeral home.
