Mr. Roy James Richards age 66 of Jasper, GA died Friday May 6, 2011.

Mr. Richards was born on September 30, 1944 in Gilmer Co. He is the son of the late Carter and Martha Richards.

Survivors include: Brothers: Coy & Jerry Richards both of Ellijay,Ga., Edward Richards, Calhoun, Ga.; Sisters: Sue Evans, Calhoun, Ga., Darlene Robertson, Marietta, Ga.; Special friend: Dee Rackley, Jasper, Ga.; Several uncles, aunts, nieces & nephews also survive.

Graveside services will be held Thursday May 12, 2011 at 4pm from the Flat Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Ellijay with Rev. Jerry Banks officiating.

The family will meet with friends following the service at the Cemetery.
