Mr. Dennis Martin Sauls, age 60, of Ellijay, Ga., passed from this life on May 30th, 2011 from his residence.Mr. Sauls was a member of Cartecay United Methodist Church, born May 27th, 1951 to his late parents, Edwin Dewey and Marie Martin Sauls in Macon, Bibb County, Ga. He was a graduate of South Gwinnett High School, Class of 1969 and Gwinnett Technical College. He was employed with Sears for 25 years and recently retired from Ciba Vision as a systems analyst. He was also a member of Trout Unlimited, Blue Ridge Chapter.

Survivors include: wife of 21 years, Nancy Morgan Sauls of the home in Ellijay, Ga.; daughters and son-in-law, Melissa and Shane Paris of Chattanooga, Tn., Cori Gunter of Atlanta, Ga.; son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Cindy Sauls of Loganville, Ga., Kyle Gunter of Flowery Branch, Ga.; four grandchildren: Rachel, Anna, Tyler and Morgan; sister, Sherl Sauls Craig of Newnan, Ga.; brother and sister-in-law, Ed and Jody Sauls of Snellville, Ga., and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m., Thursday, June 2nd, 2011 from the Cartecay United Methodist Church with Rev. Harden Hopper officiating; music and song by Susan Hochkins and Daniel Sauls. Interment will follow in the Cartecay United Methodist Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Daniel Sauls, Evan Goodwin, Ethan Goodwin, Daniel Lanford, Caleb Lanford and Tip Morgan.

In lieu of flowers family requests donations be made to Hope Lodge, 1552 Shoup Ct., Decatur, Ga. 30033 or Cartecay United Methodist Church Building Fund, 7629 Highway 52, East Ellijay, Ga. 30536 in memory of Mr. Sauls.

Family will receive friends beginning at 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 1st, 2011 at Logan Funeral Home and Chapel.
