Mr. Glenn Elwin Ellis age 75 of Ellijay died Monday July 18, 2011.

Mr. Ellis was born on September 21, 1935 in St, Louis, MO. He is the son of the late Glen Ellis and Mary Ragland Ellis. He was a retired salesman from the Manhattan Electrical Supply Co. in Miami, FL, a US Army Veteran and was a member of the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Ellijay. He is preceded in death by his first wife Zona Marlene McCollum Ellis and a son Michael Ellis.

Survivors Include: Wife: Clarese Ellis of the home; Son & daughter-in-law: Jonathan & Noelle Ellis, Snoqualmie, WA; 2 Grandchildren: Megan & Michael Ellis; Brother: Jerry Ellis, FL; Sisters: Joan Smith, VA, Glenda Berman, Murphy, NC, Marcia Norris, FL.

Funeral services will be held Saturday July 23, 2011 at 4pm from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Rubin Smith officiating. Interment will be in the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Saturday July 23rd from 11am until the service hour at 4pm at the Bernhardt Funeral Home.
